What is it like? We meet in person each Sunday at 4 pm for an experiential gathering where we practice spiritual principles together. The first three (3) Sundays of month we meet in the sanctuary. The fourth (4th) Sunday of the month we meet in the social hall for a shared potluck meal with guided discussions. If there is a fifth (5th) Sunday of a month, we take a collective rest and do not meet.
What about my kids? Kids are welcome! There is a space for littles and kids to hang out with us in the sanctuary. There is also a family room for your convenience with a tv that broadcasts the gathering.
Where do I park? The main parking lot can be accessed on Comanche just west of Carlisle. Please see the map below.
What do I wear? Whatever makes you comfortable, come as you are!

ABQ CSL shares a campus with First Unitarian and Minara Muslim Community. We shared space with Minara prior to selling our property on Louisiana Blvd and were searching for our next religious home. We found it at UU and it is a joy to share space on campus as partners in the work of love and justice. All are invited to any and all services and activities of AbqCSL, UU, and Minara. In addition to the formal rental agreement, the Rev. Amani Malaika, Imam Abdur’Rauf Campos-Marquetti, Revs. Angela Herrera Koren and Bob LaVallee have created a covenant together. With the goal of deepening our interfaith partnerships, it begins, “Our congregations are distinct, yet share values of love, justice, and diversity. We recognize and affirm our mutual commitment to creating a world that works for all and acknowledge the need for a collaborative, multi-disciplinary effort in creating the world we know is possible—a world of peace, unity, and human dignity for all.” You can find the whole covenant here.
Our three religious communities have been sharing a campus since Fall 2022, and we team up to bring everyone together for a celebratory, multi-generational Christmas Eve service! Thank you to Roger Harmon for the wonderful photos of a beautiful celebration of light and love. We also work together with both Minara's Homeless Feeding Program and UU's Food Pantry.
