We are a spiritual community that began as a Science of Mind study group more than 60 years ago. A small group of people got together in a living room to study the metaphysical teachings of Ernest Holmes. It has since evolved and morphed over the years into a Church of Religious Science and in 2008 to a Center for Spiritual Living.
As a Center for Spiritual Living, we hold a vision for a world that works for everyone.
After the Covid-19 shutdown we have again evolved to be a Center for Spiritual Living that meets a more diverse community of people where they are. We have become an interspiritual community of practice that encourages everyone we reach to pull from the faith traditions and spiritual practices that make spiritual living accessible and real for all who want it. We continue to teach metaphysics as an important aspect of spiritual living and honor all of the New Thought ancestors whose shoulders we stand on. We have chosen to be more intentional in drawing from multiple faith traditions, spiritual practices, and ways of living to better support people to actually live a life centered in Spirit. This is what we as a community have decided to become as a Center for Spiritual Living.
We honor and welcome all peoples. Whatever your color, sexuality, ability, gender, economic status or religious and spiritual beliefs, you are welcome to join us in an intentional spiritual community to practice living our spiritual truths and values.
It is when we bump up against each other, delight in our differences, and continue to hold the knowing that we are always looking at another face of God that the real magic of Love In Action comes to life.
