When was the last time you gave yourself permission to simply be still? Not the kind of stillness where you’re waiting for your next move, or scrolling through your phone, but the kind where you sit, breathe, and allow the world to pause for a moment. When was the last time you stopped long enough to let the noise and chaos of life fade into the background, just so you could listen for that quiet voice within?

If you're anything like most of us, it's been a while. Maybe the thought of slowing down feels like a luxury—something you can only afford when you’ve ticked off every box on your to-do list. Maybe you’re caught up in the unrelenting crisis’s in the world—genocides. politics, social media, climate catastrophes, endless news cycles. Then, there’s your personal stuff- your love life (or lack of one), your health challenges, your family dramas, your losses and grief and trauma and and and. The energy of life right now is loud, chaotic, intense, and relentless, and it has a way of convincing you that you can’t slow down, that there’s no time to breathe. The very act of pausing is a rebellion.

But here’s the thing: this right here is exactly what you need to do.

Don't let the noise trick you into believing that peace and love are impossible to find right now. You can find it—right here, right now, in this moment. It’s countercultural to step away from the chaos and plug into the Ultimate Reality—the Divine Presence that remains steady, true, and good, no matter what the world throws at us. It takes courage to unplug from the madness and turn inward, but when you do, you’ll tap into the divine well of peace, love, and wisdom that’s waiting for you to remember it’s always been there.

You have the power to be the change you’re yearning to see in the world. But to do that, you have to resource yourself first. You cannot pour from an empty cup. You cannot give what you do not have. So, make it a priority to stop. To sit. To listen. When you take the time to dig deep and connect with the Divine within you, you become a re-source—a living, breathing vessel of peace and love in a world desperately in need of both.

This practice—this act of being still—is the key to tapping into the presence of the Divine, not just for yourself, but for the world. You don’t need to be in some faraway temple or retreat center to access this. The Presence is already right where you are. And the more you take time to feel and experience this Presence, the more it transforms you. It’s a practice of radical self-love, and in that act of loving yourself, you become a living example of the Love that the world needs right now.

But here’s the twist: when you practice going within—when you make it your priority to connect with your true, holy self—you become so much better at connecting with others. Think about it: real love, the kind that heals and transforms, doesn’t come from an empty place. It comes from a full, connected, and centered heart. The more you connect with your divine essence, the more you’re able to love and engage with the world around you.

This is the blueprint for every loving relationship—whether with family, friends, a partner, or even people you haven't met yet. And it’s the very foundation of the communities and world we are called to create as the old, harmful structures around us crumble. The transformation we seek in the world begins with the transformation we create within ourselves. It starts with us, and it starts with this—going inward, slowing down, being present with the Divine, and digging deep into the core of our own being.

It’s not easy, I know. It’s hard to turn away from the noise and the horror, especially when the world seems to be spinning out of control. But it is necessary. The most loving thing you can do—for yourself, for the world—is to be still. To pause long enough to sit with the Divine. To listen. To let the love that is always present fill you up. The love you seek? It’s waiting for you in the silence, in the stillness. And when you take the time to tap into that love, you become part of the solution.

You deserve that love. You deserve to feel it, to experience it, to know that it’s available to you. So, take the time to dig deep.

Be still, and dig deep.

Because the world desperately needs the love and peace you have inside of you.
