Lost in Love

“Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.” — Henry David Thoreau

We went to see Air Supply in concert last week, and it was pretty awesome.

This is a group that I totally dismissed when I was in middle school because every song was an over-the-top candy-coated ballad, the epitome of schmaltz. And yet, last week I sat there in my sixth-row seat singing along with every single hit for an hour and a half. For 42 years, this power-pop duo has been belting out soaring anthems of unabashed love, and they still fly right through the roof!

Losing our composure, losing our embarrassment, losing our inhibitions and restraint, losing our cynicism, even losing our way — in the final analysis, love’s probably a great thing to get lost in. There’s nothing wrong with the big feelz my friends!

I can’t wait to see you for our service of song & celebration this Saturday at 6:00. Join us at 5:30 for wine, community, and cheer. XO, Drew
